Objectives

Conduct Advocacy on the service gaps in maternal, new born and child health in Niger State.

Design Empowerment Strategies that strengthen women’s voices and participation at the community level.

Work with relevant social sectors agencies for an integrated approach to health care for women, girls and communities.

Coordinate programming that enables households and communities participate in awareness generation to reduce maternal, Neo – natal and child deaths.

Engage in primary health care centers and other grassroots entry points to ensure services get to hard to reach communities.

Complement Niger State Government health care plan for women and girls.

RAiSE Foundation has Maternal and Child Health Packages which addresses the healthcare needs during pregnancy, childbirth, and afterward. Maternal mortality and morbidity indices is quite alarming with one death every 4 minutes.

VVF Prevention & Treatment

Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) is a sub-type of female urogenital fistula (UGF). VVF is an abnormal fistulous tract extending between the bladder and the vagina that allows the continuous involuntary discharge of urine into the vagina.

RAiSE Foundation is centered on demand driven aspect of Women Empowerment. Outside the home, women have limited access to resources, they are under – represented in public and policy making organizations. Empowering women to participate fully.

We conduct free breast and cervical cancer screening for women, positive results are referred for treatment and monitored while negative results are recalled for routine checks.
