MATERNAL HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM

Women have been enjoined to engage in Healthy Maternal  practices during pregnancy and while breastfeeding for the wellbeing of mother and child. 
This was at Raise Foundation’s visit to Barikin Sale Primary Healthcare Centre Minna, Niger State on a sensitization outreach for pregnant women.

Attending antenatal clinics as scheduled and returning to the Health facility for delivery under the supervision of a skilled birth attendant will result to safer deliveries  and less complications for mother and child. 
Pregnant Women in their third trimesters at the PHC recieved our Birth Kits containing all items needed at the point of delivery to discourage home deliveries as they would not have to spend any money to deliver at the hospital.
Our maternal and Child Health Education program is geared towards reducing Maternal and Newborn deaths.
