ACCEL AFRICA PROJECT
With the aim of taking children away from the dangers of mining and enrolling/ re-enrolling them back to school for education as well as improved alternative source of livelihood, we have distributed English and Mathematics Textbooks to 172 pupils of Kpmakpma Primary school and 61 students of Day Secondary School Kpmakpma in Shiroro LGA of Niger State.
We have also commenced tailored needs Vocational Skills training for 100 teens within legal working age in the community. They are being trained in Tailoring, hair dressing, phone repairs, carpentry, etc.
This project is supported by the international Labour Organisation within the Accelerating Action for the Elimination of Child Labor in supply chains in Africa (ACCEL AFRICA) project.
