Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

Seventy-one women benefited from the free breast and cervical cancer screenings conducted by the Raise Foundation team during the 2024 Women/Sisters Convention, themed “The Triumphant Woman,” at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Jesus House Parish) in Minna, Niger State.

Two women were found to have breast lumps, and one was identified with cervical changes. Further investigations and treatment for these three cases will commence immediately.
We also used the opportunity to educate the women on the importance of self-breast examinations and regular screenings, emphasizing that early detection remains the most effective way to prevent breast cancer.
